Obituary for Mary Lou P. Montefusco

Mary Lou Montefusco died on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Morris View Nursing Home in Morris Twp. She was 78.

Born in Newark, she lived in Rutherford for many years before moving to Rockaway in 2007.

Ms. Montefusco was the owner of Apple Time Day Care in Lyndhurst; previously she worked as Purchasing & Traffic Manager at Amerifilm in Kearny.

She was a parishioner of St. Clement Pope & Martyr Church in Rockaway, and the Rockaway Super Seniors.

She is survived by her daughter: Nicole (& John) Jackson, and her son: Thomas (& Stephanie) Montefusco all of Rockaway; eight grandchildren: Tyler (& Kaela) Montefusco, Francesca and Ryan Jackson, Haily, Jake, Gianna and Jaxon Montefusco, and Jeffrey McNiece; and a great-granddaughter, Madilyn Montefusco

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 10:00AM to 12:30PM with a funeral service immediately following at 12:30 PM at the Whitham - Kanapaux Funeral Home, 20 Keller Ave, Rockaway.
